This latest phase will see the construction of 172 new homes, 61 of which will be earmarked for a local housing association. The reserved matters approval was issued by the Vale of White Horse District Council.
Construction on Phase 3A and 3B of Valley Park will commence in “a matter of weeks” with the first occupations expected later in 2026, the company said in an announcement.
“Valley Park has been a great success story so far and we are making swift progress on delivering on our commitment to bring new housing and infrastructure to Didcot,” said Seb Spiller, managing director at Persimmon.

“As with previous phases, we have ensured our latest application will be well integrated into the wider development with strong links to community focal points, while continuing to deliver high-quality homes for our customers,” Seb said.
Once complete, Valley Park is planned to provide 4,254 homes, two primary schools, a special educational needs (SEN) school, local centres, and sports facilities.
This latest news follows Persimmon securing approval for its 1,300 West Midlands development earlier in January.
